Embark on a sensory journey into the heart of Piedmont with Silvio Grasso's Langhe Nebbiolo DOC. This wine is a tribute to the land it comes from, expressing a complexity that only the soils of the Langhe can offer. Produced through traditional winemaking methods, the wine undergoes maturation in oak barrels that enhance its structure and character. Visually, the wine presents itself with an intense ruby-red color, as if capturing the essence of a Piedmontese sunset. On the nose, a bouquet of ripe red fruits, notes of rose, and a pinch of spices unfold, like a warm and enveloping embrace. On the palate, the tannins are soft yet well-structured, offering a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste that harks back to berries and dark chocolate. For a complete gastronomic experience, this wine is ideal with red meat dishes, aged cheeses, and mushroom-based dishes. Imagine savoring it on an autumn evening, in front of a fireplace, in good company.

The Silvio Grasso company was founded in 1927 but it was only in the mid-1980s that Alessio Federico began to bottle the entire production. Now the La Morra winery manages 14 hectares of which 6 are owned but Alessio is supported by his wife Marilena and his sons Paolo and Silvio. The company focus remains on Barolo in the various crus but also Nebbiolo and Langhe Rosso as well as Barbera d'Alba are to be considered wines of excellence that combine the rich and prestigious territory of the Langhe and in particular of the La Morra area with a capable personal style to surprise even the finest palate.
